Infolge der starken Spannungen in den bilateralen Beziehungen mit dem Iran wird ein interdepartementaler Ausschuss (IGI) gebildet, der sich aus hohen Vertretern des EDA, EJDP, EMD und EVD zusammensetzt. Im EDA wird zusätzlich eine Arbeitsgruppe (AGI) ins Leben gerufen, welche sich fortlaufend mit den neusten Entwicklungen beschäftigt.
