Das Protokoll der Botschafterkonferenz gibt einen Überblick über die aussenpolitischen Tätigkeiten und Probleme der Schweiz im Jahr 1977. Neben einem allgemeinen Tour d'horizon wurden folgende Themen diskutiert: die Weltsicherheitspolitik, der 3. UNO-Bericht des Bundesrats, Energiefragen, Weltwirtschaftsfragen und der Nord-Süd-Dialog sowie der Finanzplatz Schweiz.
