Im Zentrum der interdepartementalen Sitzung standen aktuelle Fragen und der mögliche Handlungsbedarf im Bereich der schweizerischen Beziehungen mit Südafrika. Während gegenwärtig vor allem die Unterstützung des Demokratieprozesses im Hinblick auf die allgemeinen Wahlen im April 1994 im Vordergrund steht, gewinnen für die Zeit danach spezifische Fragen an Bedeutung.
