Lors de l'assemblée plénière de la Commission de coordination pour la présence de la Suisse à l'étranger, les événements sportifs dans le Tiers monde ainsi que la création d'une Fondation suisse pour les recherches archéologiques sont notamment discutées. Sur ce dernier point, la COCO estime que ce projet présente un certain intérêt, mais qu'une adhésion en tant que membre n'entre pas en ligne de compte.
