Minutes of negotiations of the Federal Council (PVCF-D)
Diskussion zur Arbeitsmethode und der Organisation des Bundesrates. Das bestehende System soll aufrecht erhalten werden, allerdings wäre eine Entlastung des Bundesrates durch den personellen Ausbau der Bundeskanzlei zu begrüssen. Zum Vorwurf des Immobilismus in der Integrationsfrage wird festgehalten, dass eine engere Assoziation mit der EWG nicht denkbar ist. Ein Anschluss an die EWG hätte zu grosse negative Auswirkungen auf die schweizerische Wirtschaftspolitik und würde zudem das Ansehen der Schweiz als unabhängigen und neutralen Staat schwächen.
