Das Abkommen mit Mazedonien regelt Handelsprinzipien wie Meistbegünstigung und den Schutz geistigen Eigentums, fördert wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und gewährleistet offene Vergabeverfahren. Für die Schweiz ist es wichtig, da es politische Stabilität in Mazedonien unterstützt, den Marktzugang erleichtert und die Integration in die Weltwirtschaft fördert.
