Die grenzüberschreitende Investitionstätigkeit gehört zu den wichtigsten weltwirtschaftlichen Aktivitäten. Eine multilaterale Regelung fehlt indessen für diesen Teil der internationalen Wirtschaftstätigkeit. Vor dem Hintergrund soll an der nächsten Jahrestagung des OECD-Rates am 23./24. Mai 1995 die Aushandlung eines multilateralen Investitionsabkommens beschlossen werden, an dem auch die Schweiz grosses Interesse hat.
