The Ombudsmen have implemented their Institution in middle Bosnia and in Herzegovina. The local authorities in the visited municipalities received them sometimes with reserve, but mostly with real pleasure, as «emissaries of a peaceful future». The local media covered their visits extensively and a sprinkling of international journalists followed their first steps in the croat part of the Federation.
