This summary account on the Swiss protection of British, American and Netherlands interest in Japanese occupied China during the Pacific War hopes to contribute towards a better understanding on the difficulties and wilful obstruction, that the General Consulate encountered during their mandate, which has given rise to misunderstanding and criticism due to inadequacies in the achieved results. A more thorough report was not possible owing to the rapid liquidation of the Foreign Interests Section after the Japanese unconditional surrender.
