An der ersten Tagung des Gemischten Ausschusses Schweiz-Lettland werden unter anderem die Kumulationsmöglichkeiten zwischen den einzelnen Freihandelszonen Europas, die Aushandlung einer bilateralen Landwirtschaftsvereinbarung, öffentliches Beschaffungswesen, Schutz des geistigen Eigentums, Subventionspolitik sowie die Dienstleistungen und Investitionen diskutiert.
