The President of the Confederation Cotti informs President Gorbunov that the Swiss Government has decided to restore full bilateral relations between Switzerland and the independent and sovereign Republic of Latvia. A special envoy will visit the Baltic States in the immediate future in order to discuss all practical steps to be taken.
