The United Kingdom can only meet the request by the Swiss Federal Institute for Reactor Research to supply 10 kg of plutonium, after concluding with Switzerland a safeguards agreement. Should Switzerland ratify the Non-Proliferation Treaty an agreement is to be negotiated with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
