With regard to the situation of Kosovo Albanians, the position of the UNHCR continues to believe that their eligibility should be carefully assessed on a case-by-case basis and is not in a position to oppose, on strictly legal grounds, the return of persons rejected after appropriate consideration of their claims in fair procedures.
