The Swiss Government regrets the use of violence and appeals to the Nepalese Authorities to use restraint and moderation in maintaining order and to respect the fundamental human rights. The Nepalese Government is encouraged to use the means of dialogue to face the situation arising from the democratic aspirations of the Nepalese people.
