Switzerland is not a member of the Pakistan Consortium of the Worldbank, but it follows its meetings as an observer. It will consider sympathetically the recommendations of the Consortium regarding the external debt of Pakistan and it is prepared to enter into negotiations with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
