Beistandspakt zw. Australien, Neuseeland und den USA, abgeschlossen am 1.9.1951 in San Francisco, mit dem Ziel der gegenseitigen Unterstützung bei einem Angriff auf einen der Vertragspartner. Zur Erörterung gemeinsamer Fragen wurde ein Aussenministerrat eingerichtet. Australien und Neuseeland sahen indem Vertrag eine Sicherheitsgarantie gegen Japan. Mit dem Südostasiatischen Sicherheitsvertrag (SEATO) erfuhr der Pazifik-Pakt 1954 eine Erweiterung.
