Jordan has supported the US initiative in the Middle East peace process so far, even though it is far from agreeing on all points. However, it is incomprehensible that the USA has always called on the UN in the Gulf crisis, while on the other hand any efforts to resolve the Palestinian issue are seen as an interference.
