The Dalai Lama is asking the Federal Council to consider the possibility to accept some more than the 300 Tibetan refugees Switzerland has generously opened her door to by immigrating the total number of one thousand Tibetans as originally planned and eventually to accept as many of his people as possible in order to alleviate the poor state of conditions existing among Tibetian refugees in India.
