Die bisherigen Sondierungen bei den EG-Gremien und den EG-Mitgliedsstaaten haben ergeben, dass eine Beteiligung der Schweiz am vierten Forschungsrahmenprogramm der EG erwünscht ist. An der Sitzung sollen die Formalitäten und das weitere Vorgehen für die Beteiligung der Schweiz geklärt werden.
