Bras armé du FPR, fondé en 1990 pour mener une offensive depuis l'Ouganda au Rwanda. Devient de fait l'armée du Rwanda à la prise de pouvoir du FPR en 1994 et finit par se fondre dans l'armée régulière du Rwanda en 2002.
